Synchronized Video - GoPro
GoPro cameras are small, rugged and offer high quality HD 1080 video for an extremely reasonable price. Easily mounted just about anywhere, GoPro cameras can now be seamlessly integrated to a Track Commander, Micro Pod, or Pro unit. The RLC data logger will control the GoPro by turning it on and start recording when race dash starts to log data. When the RLC race logger stops logging data it will send a signal to the GoPro to stop recording and turn off. You will never again have to worry about turning the camera on, draining the battery, or pressing the record button; RLC does it all for you!
GoPro Camera Start/Stop Recording Controlled By RLC Race Dash (Available On Some Models)
Works With GoPro HERO 1080 HD Cameras (With HERO Bus)
Easy To Manually Synchronize GoPro Camera File To A RLC Log File (First Time Only)
Video Directly Corresponds to Data and GPS Track Position
The Track Commander, Micro Pod, or Pro unit connects easily to the GoPro camera with a simple video adapter cable. The RLC race logger will help to conserve battery life by turning the camera on and off and conserve memory space by starting and stopping recording only when you are out on the track. Now you can concentrate on your driving because everything else is already being taken care of by your RLC data logger.
Synchronizing the video file to the data file is extremely easy with the Pro Race Analysis software. Since the RLC race logger controls the GoPro camera, the two files are already semi-synchronized. Once you synchronize the two files they are saved into one file and you never have to do it again. Now when you click anywhere on the track map the video and data will jump to that exact position.
